To ensure that marketing and advertising of Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) qualifications to prospective learners is ethical, accurate and consistent with CIT scope of registration and information provided to all current and prospective students is compliant with all regulatory requirements.

2. Scope

This policy relates to nationally recognised and/ or CIT accredited programs leading to a qualification or Statement of Attainment for all current and prospective students.

3. Principles

3.1  All marketing and advertising of AQF qualifications will comply with the appropriate regulatory requirements.

3.2 CIT will only advertise qualifications which have been approved by the appropriate regulatory body and CIT for delivery and/or assessment by CIT.

3.4 CIT will only use the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations, Schedule 4, and TEQSA.

3.5 CIT will not provide any guarantees to learners about the successful completion of training or any particular employment outcome that is outside of its control.

3.6 CIT will maintain accurate, up-to-date, easily accessible and relevant program information for current and prospective students on its website.

3.7 Program information to be used in promotion or advertising will be derived from the course entry on the CIT website, and presented in a form consistent with the CIT Style Guide.

3.8 Should CIT need to cancel or change classes at short notice, every effort will be made to inform students as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements for students to meet the requirements of the subject and complete their qualification.
