Who we are
As the ACT’s public provider of vocational education and training (VET), the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) plays a vital role in enriching the Canberra community and shaping its workforce.
Since 1928, we have been central to delivering government priorities for vocational education and training, making significant contributions to the social, economic and cultural development of the ACT. With over 18,000 course enrolments annually, we equip students with the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing job market.
Offering apprenticeships and certificate-level training through to diplomas and graduate certificates, CIT offers the full gamut of the tertiary experience and can help you identify a training pathway to help you reach your goals, whether you are new to study or already hold qualifications.
