CIT apprentice wins Graduating Apprentice of the Year

CIT is very proud of our student and Cabinetmaking apprentice, Connor Frew who was awarded the Graduating Apprentice of the Year at the 2021 Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) awards held on 3 February.

The awards acknowledge not only the practical skills of apprentices working in the construction trades but also their character, maturity and commitment to their apprenticeship and career.

Connor, an apprentice at Infinite Joinery, enjoys his chosen career as “I am learning from experts in cabinet making and have so much variety in my job.”

There is currently a strong demand for apprentices in all trades from local construction businesses in the ACT region.
