Events

Launch your career in the dynamic and exciting world of events with a qualification from CIT.

You'll learn all the elements that go into running a successful event, from hands-on skills to using industry software such as EventsAIR.

The skills you'll learn are transferable across the hospitality, sport, cultural, community, and tourism and travel sectors.

Once you finish your studies, you'll have the option to grow your career further with another qualification or university degree.

We have flexible study options to suit your lifestyle, and even offer skills recognition for your industry and work experience.

Hands on experience

Our courses give you the opportunity to learn real practical skills by organising live events.

In 2020 our Events and Hospitality students hosted a high tea, wellness morning, wine dinner and Oktoberfest. The four charity events raised over $15,000 for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Canteen Australia, QENDO and Pegasus.

Other events students have organised include a trivia night, gala dinner, and the Hospitality, Culinary and Tourism Awards Night.
