Jake Keller Scholarship

In memory of Justin Alfred (Jake) Keller, Foundation Member of the National Arboretum Canberra, the Jake Keller Scholarship will provide an exciting opportunity for one CIT horticulture student to receive financial assistance with their studies and undertake valuable professional development via work experience with the arboretum's horticulture team.

The recipient of the scholarship will be also eligible to do work experience at the National Arboretum Canberra.

The work experience will be arranged with horticultural staff at the National Arboretum and will be for the duration of one week. The scholarship recipient will gain valuable professional development in contemporary horticulture practices.

Source of funding: The National Arboretum Canberra

Value: $1,000 which will be a contribution towards the CIT tuition fees in the chosen qualification in horticulture and must be redeemed within 12 months of receipt plus one week work experience.

Eligibility Criteria: Eligible students should be in their final year of any certificate III course within the CIT Department of Horticulture and should also be considering further studies in horticulture at CIT.
