This training will provide plumbers with the skills and knowledge required to design, size and document the layout of sanitary plumbing systems for multi-floor residential buildings and commercial buildings.

|Part-time over 1 semester. 1 evening per week (3 hours) over 18 weeks, face-to- face training at CIT Fyshwick campus.
Approximately 10 hours of online/self-directed learning and project work throughout the duration of the course.
Enrolment fees for this course are based on the costs per subject as indicated below. Subject costs identified as Full Fee receive no government subsidy. Concessions are not available. The fees below apply unless training as an apprentice or trainee.
Likely Job Outcome:
You will need to purchase your own set of Australian Standards for Plumbing AS3500 and other texts and provide your own drawing equipment and calculator. You will be expected to provide and wear the appropriate safety clothing and equipment when working on practical projects or on-site visits. This course contributes to the Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services.
- hold a CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- or hold a current Journeyperson or Plumbing Registration.

Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course.
