I have worked in many of Canberra's established practices and have extensive and diverse experience from small scale residential to large scale commercial projects. I also run a boutique practice that fuses architecture and interior design, whilst also teaching Interior Design at CIT
Being a Canberra designer for over 13 years now, I highly enjoy inspiring future generations of designers through the opportunity of teaching Interior Design at CIT. Over the past three years I have been able to best adapt my learned skills and knowledge and provide industry example to students who have an eye for design, and who have taken the choice to explore this fantastic course.
I believe the Interior Design course at CIT offers students a readiness for industry through real life practice, where students are able to grasp essential practical skills to hit the ground running and explore the diversity of design.
Through my professional background in Interior Design, Architecture and Applied Science in Environmental Design, I readily encourage students to expand their horizons and follow their dreams in design, just as I have.
It is a privilege to provide knowledge and share my expertise with new and enthusiastic students, as they enter into the world of Interior Design here at CIT, and watch them take a step towards their creative careers.
