Women's Free Legal Service
The Women's Legal Centre (WLC) ACT will have a lawyer on CIT Reid campus every Friday, 9am - 12pm to assist eligible students with issues in the workplace e.g. under payments, difficulties accessing sick leave, unfair dismissal, bullying, discrimination and failure to adjust work duties because of your disability and inappropriate conduct at work or in public e.g. in receiving goods/services (i.e. by a shopkeeper or Uber driver) or in accommodation (i.e. by your landlord).
Eligibility: students who identify as a woman

How to book an appointment: Contact Student Support on (02) 6207 3290 who will complete and forward your referral form to WLC who will then contact you for a possible appointment time or contact WLC directly on (02) 6257 4377 / 1800 634 669 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Appointments can be by phone/virtual or in person.
