Additional Information

You will need to provide clothing and appropriate safety footwear suitable for working on a construction site and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, dust masks and hearing protection.

Completion of the general induction training course specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry covers this requirement.

Licensing, legislative and regulatory or certification requirements for painting and decorating work differ between States and Territories. Please consult with the relevant regulatory authority

Entry Requirements

If you are entering this course as an Apprentice under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements, you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Apprentice Network Provider (ANP) prior to enrolment. CIT will conduct an interview prior to the commencement of study to discuss:
