This professional course will prepare you to perform advanced accounting roles. It provides high level training with work-ready skills to give you the edge in the workforce. This qualification is highly respected by the business, banking and financial communities because it combines hands-on training with comprehensive theoretical knowledge. Graduates from this program will be ready to embark on, or continue with, successful careers in both the private and public sectors. The Advanced Diploma fast-tracks you to the Bachelor of Business degree - a Charles Sturt University (CSU) qualification jointly delivered and completed in one year full-time by CIT and CSU at CIT's Reid campus.

Campus: CIT Reid 
Duration: 1 semester full-time (20.5 hours) face-to-face classes per week plus up to 25 hours per week of self-directed study, project and assignment work.

This qualification is part of a suite of programs that includes the Certificate III in Accounts Administration, Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, the Diploma of Accounting and the Advanced Diploma of Accounting. Lower level qualifications or equivalent skills and knowledge are required for successful completion of higher level programs.

Completion of both FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set and FNSSS00015 Advanced Accounting Principles Skill Set; OR
Completion of FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting; OR

Completion of FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting.
