Australia's first EV TAFE Centre of Excellence

CIT is proud to be a national leader in the delivery of skills to support the growing electric vehicle industry.

In response to the rapid growth of the EV industry and the ACT Government’s Net Zero by 2045 target, Australia’s first nationally networked Electric Vehicle (EV) TAFE Centre of Excellence (TCoE) will be established at CIT.

The inaugural EV TCoE will be part of a national network of up to 20 TAFE Centres of Excellence Australia-wide focused on growing the number of skilled workers for emerging and critical industries to critical skill gaps.

8.45% of all new cars sold in Australia are EVs.

21.9% of all new cars sold in the ACT are EVs.

180,000 EVs are now on Australian roads.
