Enrolment fees for this course are based on the costs per subject as indicated below. Subject costs identified as Full Fee receive no government subsidy. Concessions are not available. The fees below apply unless training as an apprentice or trainee. If you're currently employed in the ACT construction industry, you may be eligible for ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Authoridy (TFA) subsidised training. Upon completing this course and obtaining your statement of attainment, you will be eligible to work in the ACT construction industry. Note that the Course in General Construction Induction (white Card) and the Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention must also be completed prior to working on a construction site. |

Additional Information
Completion of this course will enable the graduate to obtain an Asbestos Awareness Competency Card from CIT that meets current Regulatory requirements.
Note that competency cards are not mandatory and the statement of attainment for completing 11084NAT - Course in asbestos awareness is sufficient evidence that a person has completed the mandatory training required. WorkSafe ACT would accept a digital copy of the statement of attainment such as a scanned copy or photograph stored on a smart phone or tablet as being evidence of completion of this training.

You must be enrolled at least 24 hours prior to course commencement. If you are not enrolled you cannot attend the course. If you are 10 minutes late you may not be admitted to the course.
