Construction

If you enjoy working with your hands and creating things from scratch, a course in carpentry or cabinet making can open the door to a rewarding trade career. Through practical learning opportunities and classes taught by industry professionals, you will gain the knowledge and skills you need to work on a range of projects.

CIT has given me the hands-on experience and confidence to find my place in the construction industry. Working on a real site through the Women in Construction program showed me how the skills I’m learning can make a real impact. It’s exciting to know I’ve helped build something that will serve the community for years to come.
