Access and accounts
Microsoft 365
All currently enrolled CIT students have access to CIT Student Microsoft Office 365 unless the course you are enrolled in is less than 1 day duration.
Passwords
Students have one username (CIT number) and password to access all student systems at CIT (e.g. Internet, Self Service, eLearn).
You need to provide your personal email account to CIT Student Services or update your details on CIT Self Service to receive important information.
Study and learning
My CIT
Access your timetable, results, eLearn, CIT Self Service, CITSA and find CIT support services via cards. Tailor your dashboard, set reminders and save favourites.
Self Service
Our Student Management System, Banner, is the official source that contains your personal information, enrolment records, academic records and payments.
eLearn
eLearn is CIT's online learning environment which is designed to provide you with a variety of interactive learning experiences.
My eQuals
CIT issues digital academic documents to students and graduates on My eQuals.
IT services
Internet and WiFi
CIT students and staff have WiFi internet access at all CIT locations. Student use of WiFi must be in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
Computer and laptop access
Computer facilities (PCs and laptops) are available for use in each library. You need to be a CIT student or staff member to borrow laptops or use computers.
Computers and 24-hour access
24-hour access to computers are available for CIT students at CIT Woden and CIT Bruce. After-hours access is available at CIT Gungahlin.
Print, copy and scan
Printers are available at CIT for students to print, copy and scan. You can print to any printer in CIT from your personal device or from a CIT computer.
Training and placement systems
Ready Skills
Ready Skills is an online system used to support the learning and training requirements of apprentices and trainees. Use it to monitor your training plan, record workplace activities and provide evidence of on-the-job learning.
Employers use Ready Skills to verify workplace activities, monitor progress and support workplace learning.
InPlace
InPlace is the online placement management system used to coordinate and track student placements.
If your course has a mandatory work placement component, you will be provided with access to InPlace.
