English Language

Is English your second, third or fourth language? Do you need English language skills for work or study?

CIT offers government subsidised affordable English language classes. These courses assist students to achieve functional English so they can maximise settlement opportunities in Australia. They are designed to improve skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing English, from beginner to advanced level.

Semester 2 classes will start on Monday 27 July 2020. The delivery mode of all English language courses is a mixture of face-to-face delivery, online and self-paced distance learning.

All prospective students are required to sit a placement test. You will need to apply for a course online if you wish to attend a placement test in July. Once we receive your online application, we will advise you of the date, time and venue of your placement test.
