Skills for Renewables Schools Showcase

Are you looking to explore course and career options in future renewables?

See where your passion can take you at the 2024 Schools Showcase event on Skills for Renewables, a hands-on showcase of CIT’s renewable courses.

On Friday 8 November 2024, the Skills for Renewables Schools Showcase event is your chance to meet our friendly staff, use our first-class industry standard facilities and find out what it's like to be a CIT student for a day.

The program on the day will enable students to sample hands-on experience in selected activities such as:

• Try a Trade – Solar, battery storage (CIT Fyshwick)
• Try a Trade – Electric Vehicle Technology (CIT Fyshwick)
• Cyber Security showcase (CIT Reid)
• Futureville virtual computer game session on renewable technology – students will explore and learn about careers in renewable energy based on their interests (CIT Reid)

The event runs over two campuses: CIT Fyshwick and CIT Reid. Students will attend the campus based on their chosen activity.

• Eligibility: This event is open to students in Years 10, 11 and 12
• Additional information: Please note that school groups will be required to have a school representative (teacher or careers advisor) attend with them
