What is eLearn?
eLearn is a rich online learning environment which gives your students a variety of learning experiences.
Within eLearn, students can access a range of interactive tools such as forums, links to websites, learning objects, audio, video, quizzes and assignments, and much more.
For eLearn to work at its best, please ensure you use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
How Do I Start?
Enter the following URL into the address bar in your browser: elearn.cit.edu.au
On the log-in screen, your Username is your CIT ID (e.g. CIT******). This can be found on your student card.
Password is set to your date of birth by default in the format of DDMMYY.
Forgotten your CIT Number?
If you don't know your CIT number, or have forgotten it, you can recover it by calling CIT Student Services on (02) 6207 3188. You will be greeted by an automated message before being put on hold as you are transferred through to one of our staff who can help you out.
Note: You will need to verify your identity to recover your CIT number.
How Do I Reset My Password?
If you have forgotten your password for logging into eLearn, first try using the default password. This is your date of birth (DOB) in DDMMYY format.
For example: 10th March 1990 = 100390
If the default password doesn't work, then you may have changed it last time you accessed eLearn. This password cannot be recovered, but you can have your password reset to the default password by contacting the Learning Centres, Student Services, or eLearn Support on (02) 6207 3833.
Note: You will need to verify your identity to receive a password reset.
How Do I Change My Password?
Go to https://citproxym.cit.edu.au/admin/index.php and log on with your current username and password. Follow the instructions to Change Password.
Note: This link is only available from CIT computers.
