eLearn

What is eLearn?

eLearn is CIT's online learning environment which is designed to provide you with a variety of interactive learning experiences.

You can access your course material and interact with your teachers and fellow students using forums and messaging tools, complete your learning activities online, submit assignments, receive grades and feedback.

For eLearn to work at its best, please ensure you use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

How Do I Start?

Click on Go to eLearn above or enter elearn.cit.edu.au into the address bar in your browser.

Enter your login details:

Username is your CIT ID (e.g. CIT******). This can be found on your student card.

Password is the one you created when you activated your CIT Microsoft 365 account.

Note: if you haven't activated your CIT Microsoft 365 account, then the password is set to your date of birth in the format of DDMMYY.

Forgotten your CIT Number?

If you don't know your CIT number, or have forgotten it, you can recover it by calling CIT Student Services on (02) 6207 3188.

Note: You will need to verify your identity to recover your CIT number.

Haven't activated your CIT Microsoft 365 account?

As a current student, you will receive an email invitation from CIT Student Account to activate your Microsoft 365 account.

Check your details in CIT Self Service: you must have a valid personal email address and mobile phone number entered.

If either of these details is incorrect or missing, please update it and you will receive an email invitation to activate your Microsoft 365 account.

Note: it may take up to 24 hours for the email invitation to be sent to your inbox after you enrol. If you can't find the email make sure you check your spam/junk mail folder.

How Do I Reset My Password?

If you have forgotten your password for logging into CIT systems, follow this guide to reset it: Password Reset Instructions document here (PDF 519Kb).

If you are unable to reset your password using the guide above, contact the Library, Student Services, or eLearn Support on (02) 6207 3833.

Note: You will need to verify your identity to receive a password reset.
