Silica Exposure Prevention Training

CIT are now offering the Statement of Attainment Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention 10830NAT to address the growing need for identifying and mitigating risks associated with exposure to crystalline silica dust in the building and construction industry.

This course will provide the skills and knowledge to recognise workplace health and safety risks and hazards, when working with crystalline silica containing products. You will be able to identify products containing crystalline silica, use products in accordance with legislation, and National standards, and identify the consequences of use and/or exposure to silica dust.

Please note: You must be enrolled at least 24 hours prior to course commencement. If you are not enrolled you cannot attend the course. If you are 10 minutes late you may not be admitted to the course. This is due to the physical distancing rules being in place.

Cost: $340 or $260 for Training Fund Authority rebate eligible students. If you believe you are eligible for the TFA rebate, you will need to contact CIT before enrolling as we will apply the rebate before enrolment.
