This course is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their competence in workplace communication and problem-solving. The course provides units of study that focuses on developing the following key competencies.
Improve interactions with others: Students will learn how to communicate professionally and successfully in various workplace settings. This includes developing oral communication skills, as well as learning how to carry out conversations with clients and colleagues and negotiate effectively.
Problem-Solving Strategies: The course will equip students with practical problem-solving techniques and strategies to help them tackle everyday workplace challenges. This includes evaluating information, identifying potential solutions, and making informed decisions.
By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and skills necessary to navigate and succeed in today's rapidly changing workplace environment.

Delivery for this course is blended; face to face and online.
This course of learning includes optional non-accredited study in Communication Fundamentals.
Entry Requirements
To meet the inherent requirements of this course students will need to be at exit level ACSF 2 with the aim and ability to progress to ACSF level 3 throughout the course of study.
Potential student might be asked to attend an assessment interview to ensure the suitability of the course for the student’s needs.

To study any course at CIT (excluding non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework levels of at least 2 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course. If you do not have this level, you can still enrol and seek support to improve your skills or you may prefer to begin with a lower level course, or enrol in the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways (FSK20119) to develop your literacy skills.
