Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Cultural Awareness Training

Encourage a culture of diversity, respect and understanding in your workplace with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Cultural Awareness Training.

CIT Yurauna Centre's Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness training caters for small and large groups, and offers culturally sensitive training in a range of critical areas.

Training can be customised to your organisation's needs, and can be held at CIT Yurauna Centre, CIT Reid or within your workplace.

CIT recommends a full day training session, where a trained Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander facilitator will guide your employees to:

• build understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identities and cultures
• develop awareness of contemporary Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, including urban, rural and remote
• discuss your organisation's interactions with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities and people
• develop and apply cross-cultural communication skills working with:
  
  - Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff within your organisation
  - network of stakeholders
  - Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
