Additional Information
You are required to attend CIT for a 6-day practical residential workshop towards the end of the qualification. The workshop includes practical exercises and assessment regarding fire scene/crime scene processing and recording; preparing legal briefs or evidence and presenting evidence in court.
Students will need to arrange and pay for their own accommodation and travel for the 6-day practical residential workshop. This workshop is usually held once each year in November.

To enter this program you must:
Be working in a Fire Investigation role as you will be required to carry out work based activities to complete the course
AND
Be a member of an Australasian Fire or Police agency that has representation on the Australasian Fire and Emergency Authorities Council (AFAC) or obtain a reference from an AFAC member
If you are a sponsored student and your workplace is paying for you to study, you must have support from your host organisation.
To study any course at CIT (excluding degrees and non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
