Overview
This course will provide biometric technicians with knowledge and skills to examine, interpret, communicate and report technical and practical information on face biometric technologies.
It provides students with ability to conduct morphological facial image comparisons, using anatomical and physiological characteristics of the face, limitations of facial images and comparison techniques.

Duration: |
CIT will deliver this course of training over a period of 15 weeks part-time. Learners will be provided with flexibility to incorporate and complete blended learning and assessments within their own work environment. Learners should allocate an additional 2 – 4 hours per unit per week, for independent study, learning and assessment preparation. |

Entry Requirements
To enrol in this course, you must hold 11324NAT Certificate IV in Biometrics or have equivalent industry experience, knowledge and skills.
Skills Recognition
To study any course at CIT (excluding non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course.
