      5. Lower the handlebars to place the front wheel in the track.
      6. Use the handle to put the track back in.
    2. To store a bike in the ground bike rack:
      1. Walk your bike into the track, rear wheel first.
      2. Ensure the rear wheel is at the end of the track and your bike is not obstructing the path.
  2. Store your scooter in a scooter rack.
  3. Secure your bike or scooter in a rack with an appropriate bike lock.
    1. Only attach a bike lock to your bike or scooter and an appropriate rack. Bike locks must not be attached to the mesh wall of the bike cage.

  5. If using the charge point to charge an electric bike or electric scooter:
    1. Ensure your charger is correctly connected.
    2. Do not charge a third-party battery.
  6. Bikes, scooters, equipment and clothing used for active travel must not be brought into teaching spaces, student commons or staff workspaces.
    1. Bikes and scooters must be stored in the bike cage in the basement.
    2. Equipment and clothing should be stored in an end-of-trip locker, either in the basement change rooms (staff) or the level 2 change rooms (students).
    3. The Facilities Management team may remove any bikes and scooters from teaching spaces, student commons or staff workspaces.

Keep Access Routes Clear

  1. Do not place a bike, scooter, or any personal belongings in a location that would obstruct:
    1. Entry and exit to the bike cage through any door, including the doors to the change rooms.
    2. Paths between the bike racks.
