Across six engaging evening classes, you’ll learn how your camera really works and how to use manual settings to control light, focus and composition. Guided by experienced photography professionals, you’ll practise your skills in a supportive studio environment while developing a strong foundation for further study or creative exploration.

This course is ideal if you want a practical introduction to photography, a creative hobby you can grow, or a taster before moving into accredited photography study at CIT.

Eligibility and entry requirements

To enrol in this course, you must be aged 15 years or older, and be one of the following:

  • an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • a New Zealand citizen
  • the holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
  • an eligible temporary visa holder as defined in the CIT Admission and Enrolment Policy.
