The Statement of Attainment in Accounting Fundamentals is an introduction to accounting and bookkeeping. This course is delivered by industry skilled educators, including Registered BAS Agents.

This course covers:
- Preparation and submission of Business Activity Statements (BAS), and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
- Single Touch Payroll (STP)
- Financial and operational reports and statements
- Computerised accounting systems using cloud software Xero and MYOB

It is recommended that applicants have experience using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or complete the subject Design and produce spreadsheets BSBTEC302.

Literacy Skills Information

We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course.
