CIT Giving Tree supports EveryMan

Staff donations made to the 2020 CIT Giving Tree were recently presented to local charity EveryMan, who provide family accommodation, outreach support and boarding assistance to local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in need.
CIT Yurauna suggested EveryMan as the charity of choice for the 2020 CIT Giving Tree. EveryMan supports families that would otherwise be impacted by homelessness during the Christmas period. The gifts will go a long way to brighten Christmas for children of all ages in the ACT, especially after the many challenges faced by the community in 2020.
CIT Chief Executive Leanne Cover said 2020 has been a tough year for so many in our community. "At CIT, we pride ourselves on our ability to give back to the community, not only through initiatives such as the Giving Tree, but every day, through the targeted support we give our students."
Even at such a busy time of year it is great to see that so many CIT staff took the time during their Christmas shopping to think of gifts they could donate to the CIT Giving Tree.
This was a great opportunity for CIT to not only support but give back to our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community over this difficult period.
