Print, Copy and Scan

Printers are available at CIT for students to print, copy and scan.

You can print to any printer in CIT from your personal device or CIT MAC using Webprint or from a CIT computer using your Student Print Account.

You can scan in black and white or colour to your email or a USB.

CITCard

To use print, copy and scan functions you need to obtain a CITCard and then register it at a printer.

You can get your CITCard from any CIT Student Services or online via the CITCard application form.

Scanning to email or a USB is free of charge.

Adding credit to CITCard

To print and copy at CIT you need to have credit on your CITCard.

You will need a VISA or MasterCard to add credit. You can add between $2 and $100. It takes a few minutes for the credit to be added to your card.

To add credit to your CITCard, logon to a CIT computer and select the Student Print Account icon.

You can also add credit anywhere with internet access using this link on a mobile device or external computer.

Checking credit balance

Due to IT security restrictions you cannot check your credit balance using a mobile device or other external computer.

To check your credit balance, logon to a CIT computer and select the Student Print Account icon.

Refunds

Students can apply for refunds for printing. Log on to a CIT computer, select the Student Print Account icon. View recent Print Jobs.

This can only be accessed from CIT computers.

IMPORTANT: There are no refunds for user error. Please read the “How to” guide below or ask CIT Staff for assistance before printing.

Copyright

For all forms of copying, please make yourself aware of your obligations under Copyright legislation. There are signs advising you of these obligations in the CIT Libraries and at all multi-function devices.

Other printing options

Citsaprint is an on-site print service located at CIT Bruce, providing print services to students, staff and general public.

Services include large print/copy requirements and specialist printing e.g. posters and business cards.
