Census Date

A Census Date is an important deadline for students enrolled in VET Student Loan eligible subjects.

Before the Census Date, you can review and adjust your enrolment without incurring loan liability for withdrawn subjects. Once the Census Date has passed, you become financially responsible for the subjects in which you remain enrolled, regardless of whether you attend classes or participate in the course.

To avoid unexpected fees or debt, make sure you review your enrolment and withdraw from any subjects you do not intend to study before the Census Date. If you are unsure about your enrolment or financial obligations, contact CIT Student Services as soon as possible.
