Hosted at our designated asbestos training facility at CIT Bruce, you will be taught asbestos best practice in our purpose built simulated environment. Gain hands-on experience and knowledge under the guidance of industry experts including a former ACT safety commissioner, and become compliant with WorkSafe ACT asbestos removal regulations and requirements.
COVID specific attendance instructions
- All students must enter and leave CIT through the sliding doors in A Block, CIT Bruce.
- Students must remain in class until told they can leave.
- All students must wear a face mask.
- All students must sign-in using the Check-In CBR QR code upon entering A Block at CIT Bruce.
- Students must use hand sanitiser upon entering the building.
CPCCOHS1001A - 'Work safely in the construction industry' is a pre-requisite for CPCCDE3014A - 'Remove Non-Friable Asbestos' and CPCCBC4051A - 'Supervise Asbestos Removal', you will not be eligible to enrol unless you have attained this competency. CIT offers CPCCOHS1001A - 'Work safely in the construction industry' as a 6 hour course fortnightly.

CIT will not provide a refund due to late attendance, and students, upon request, transferred to the next available course and fees will apply.
