Deadly Short Courses

The CIT Yurauna Centre offers a variety of short courses to suit a range of interests and skills. These can be completed in as little as one day, and anywhere up to six months. The following courses are currently on offer through CIT Yurauna Centre.

Pre-Learner Licence Course

The Pre Learner Licence Course is delivered through CIT Yurauna to support members of the community in developing the knowledge and skills needed to become safe and confident drivers. On successful completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment, which can be used to obtain an ACT Learner Driver Licence.

Attendance on both days is compulsory for successful completion.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid Course

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid is a 14-hour course which teaches first aid skills for mental health crisis situations and the early stages of mental health problems.

This course is run by Mental Health First Aid Australia, a national non-profit health promotion charity focused on training and research.
