Print, Copy and Scan
Printers are available at CIT for students to print, copy and scan.
You can print to any printer at CIT from your personal device using Mobility Printing or from a CIT computer using your Student Print Account.
You can also scan documents, either to your email or a USB.
CITCard
To use print, copy and scan functions you need to obtain a CITCard and then register it at a printer.
You can get your CITCard from any CIT Student Services or online via the CITCard application form.

Scanning to email or a USB is free of charge.

Adding credit to your CITCard
To print and copy at CIT you need to have credit on your CITCard.
You will need a VISA or MasterCard to add credit. You can add between $2 and $100. It takes a few minutes for the credit to be added to your card.
Be careful when entering the amount of credit you want to add to your CITCard as CIT cannot refund you if you make a mistake.
To add credit to your CITCard using:
- a personal device go to CIT PaperCut Payment or PaperCut website, you will need to be onsite at CIT and connected to the ONE WiFi network
- a CIT Computer double click on the Student Print Account icon on the desktop
Checking credit balance
Due to IT security restrictions, you cannot check your credit balance offsite.
You can check your credit balance using:
- a personal device: go to CIT PaperCut Payment or PaperCut website, you will need to be onsite at CIT and connected to the ONE WiFi network
- a CIT Computer: double click on the Student Print Account icon on the desktop
- or scan your CITcard at a CIT printer and follow the prompts
Refunds
You can apply for a refund to your CITCard where there has been a malfunction with the printer or there is an error with the output from the printer. See the ‘How to’ guide for instructions.
NOTE: This functionality can only be accessed from a computer on a CIT campus.
IMPORTANT: CIT is unable to provide a refund for user error. Please read the 'How to' guides below or ask CIT Staff for assistance before printing.
