ACT Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12)

At CIT, you can complete your year 12 certificate, in a supported and flexible environment. Part-time, full-time and flexible study options are available, as well as day and evening classes.
The Year 12 Certificate is ideal to build your academic skills and confidence for work and further study. Gain an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for university entry, or improve an existing ATAR. Choose from three different study options depending on your needs.
CIT's vocational Year 12 Certificate combines practically focused English, maths and business subjects with work qualifications at certificate II and III levels in areas such as children's services, fitness, design, hairdressing, culinary skills, or automotive.

The Year 12 Certificate, for adult learners, has a general education focus. Eligible mature students may be able to complete this in just one year.
To enrol in CIT's Year 12 Program you will need to:
- Enrol into the course on the CIT website
- Read the CIT Year 12 Information booklet (PDF 1.1Mb) or attend an information session
- Print and Complete the literacy and numeracy skills evaluation
- Book an appointment for an interview to complete your enrolment by calling the CIT Year 12 Office (02) 6207 3412

The Big Picture Program is centred on student passion and interest. Projects create rich learning experiences and real products. Big Picture has small advisory classes and works with local communities to provide rich learning experience. Assessment by a public exhibition lets students demonstrate what they have learnt.
