WorldSkills ACT Regional Competitions 2026

Date

22 Jun 2026 - 15 Oct 2026

Location

CIT Bruce; CIT Fyshwick; CIT Woden

We are proud to support WorldSkills Australia by hosting regional competitions across a range of skill areas in 2026.

WorldSkills competitions provide students, apprentices and trainees with the opportunity to showcase their skills, gain industry experience, and compete at a high level in a practical, hands-on environment. These events promote excellence in vocational education and training while building confidence, capability and employability skills.

Often referred to as the “Skills Olympics”, WorldSkills competitions operate on a two-year cycle, beginning with regional competitions, followed by national championships, and culminating in the international competition where the world’s best young skilled professionals compete. High-performing competitors may have the opportunity to progress through each stage.
