Are your students interested in exploring how renewables, future energy and electrification are transforming the way we live, work and travel?

Come to the Skills for Renewables Schools Showcase for a firsthand look at life at CIT through a mixture of demonstrations, hands-on activities and information on renewable and future energy technology skills and training opportunities that can lead to exciting careers in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.

The growing Australian clean energy sector and the ACT’s accelerated transition to electrification are creating exciting new career opportunities, so now is the perfect time to find out where this sector can take you.

Join us at CIT Woden to explore our facilities, experience the renewables and future energy up close, meet industry-experienced CIT educators and discovers the study options that can help you to succeed.

At the showcase you will:

  • Have a close-up experience of an all-electric kitchen demonstration by an experienced CIT Educator.
  • Participate in a hands-on introduction to solar PV, battery storage technologies
  • Participate in a hands-on introduction to electric vehicle technology
  • Explore renewable and future energy careers, skills and pathways through the online game, Futureville
  • Talk to industry representatives about careers, pathways and work experience opportunities

  • Eligibility: Students in years 10 to 12.
