Future Technologies 2026

The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is proud to present Future Technologies, an annual industry networking event delivered by CIT’s ICT, Cyber Security and Business teams in collaboration with the Robotics Australia Robots Roadshow.

Future Technologies brings together students, industry partners and educators to explore the current and emerging technologies shaping the digital workforce. Across the day, attendees will have opportunities to connect with industry professionals, gain insight into real‑world applications of technology and learn more about employment pathways and industry‑recognised certifications, including Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Splunk and Amazon Web Services.

The event will feature a dynamic program of interactive workshops, live demonstrations and hands‑on activities delivered by industry and CIT experts, covering key areas such as cyber security, robotics and automation, artificial intelligence and ethical AI practice, and digital infrastructure and cloud technologies. Participants will also have the chance to explore CIT’s cyber model city and engage directly with exhibitors showcasing current tools, platforms and innovations used across the tech sector.
