Electronic Security System (ESS) Technician

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for several PSL 3 Electronic Security System (ESS) Technicians within Digital Customer Services Branch.

The Electronic Security System (ESS) Operations section is located in the Digital Customer Services Branch, Information Services Division (ISD). As part of the division's responsibility to manage ICT infrastructure and delivery support services to registered users in Australian Parliament House (APH), Federal Electorate Offices (EOs) and Commonwealth Parliament Offices (CPOs). It also has a critical role in managing and maintaining a comprehensive set of ESS equipment and assets, capabilities and controls that enable the security function at APH.

Information Services Division manages the infrastructure and delivery of ICT services to registered users in Australian Parliament House (APH), Federal Electorate Oces (FEOs) and Commonwealth Parliament Oces (CPOs). The Division is also responsible for the management and maintenance of the APH ESS, which includes a comprehensive set of equipment and assets, capabilities and controls that enable the security function at APH.

We are seeking highly motivated and talented technicians to, as part of small team, maintain and assist senior technicians to support a range of equipment and assets, contributing to the ongoing enhancement, management, and maintenance of electronic security assets at APH.
