SPARK Business Program Graduation - 2018

On Friday 29 June, Ginninderry hosted the SPARK program graduation for students who completed the Certificate II in Business (BSB20115) in partnership with CIT. The SPARK program with CIT is accredited training, providing business administration skills and development to assist students with potential employment.
Deputy Chief Minister for the ACT, Yvette Berry attended the event to congratulate the graduates and to assist in presenting the awards.
This recent program saw 17 students graduate, who attended 4 days a week for 10 weeks of theory and practical learning. Students were provided with the skills and support from CIT, Ginniderry, Uniting Church Kippax, CareerShop Kippax and Skills Canberra in business administration, resume writing, interview skills and team building.
Students found that this program covered a wide variety of topics setting them up for success in the community and workplace. 'Team work was something we were really encouraged to do' Program Graduate
