Additional Information

You will need to purchase your own set of Australian Standards for Plumbing AS3500 and other texts, and provide your own drawing equipment and calculator. You will be expected to provide and wear the appropriate safety clothing and equipment when working on practical projects or on site visits.

Entry Requirements / How to Apply

You must
- have CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry before entering a construction worksite
AND
- have the CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing qualification, or equivalent
- or hold a current Journeyperson or Plumbing Registration

To study any course at CIT (excluding degrees and non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

      Description: This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to carry out work-based risk control processes. It covers the identification of hazards, the assessment of risk, the identification of unacceptable risk and the determination, preparation and completion of a course of action.

      Description:

      This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to estimate materials, labour and time requirements and to establish costs for provision of services or products. The unit covers the gaining of information, the estimation of materials, labour and time, the calculation of costs and the associated documentation.
