Additional Information
You must purchase the Australian Standards AS3500, Part 0 Glossary of Terms and Part 2 Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage. Clothing must meet industry requirement for workshop activities including leatherwork boots, long cotton trousers, clear lens safety glasses.

Entry Requirements
You must: - be able to read and write documents and understand maths concepts to a level required to complete Year 10 (early in your program your skills will be checked - if you cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level needed, you will be enrolled in additional subjects to help you build the skills needed to successfully complete the program)
AND
- be employed in the drainage industry and assisting in drainage work.
It is highly recommended that you have CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry before entering a construction worksite.
As you are entering this program as a Trainee under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements, you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) prior to enrolment.
To study any course at CIT (excluding degrees and non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework levels of at least 2 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your program of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this program. If you do not have this level, you can still enrol and seek support to improve your skills or you may prefer to begin with a lower level program, or enrol in the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways (FSK20119) to develop your literacy skills.
