Evaluation of Security Documents (non-accredited training)

This training will focus on developing your capacity to effectively evaluate the credibility of secure documents in a range of circumstances.

Training course purpose:

The aim of this training is to develop participants' practical skills in evaluating document credibility.

They will build on their current understanding of security and identity documents by increasing their knowledge of security document manufacture and the traditional, modern and emerging security technologies that are incorporated. To round off the skills required to assess secure documents, an overview of principles associated with signature assessments will be provided.

What the training covers:

Modules associated with the following areas of knowledge will be covered throughout the training course:

  • Secure document integrity
  • Examination equipment and techniques
  • Examination of documents
  • Document manufacture
  • Examination of secure documents
  • Examination of non-original documents
  • Signature assessments

Training course format:

This training course runs over four days at CIT Bruce campus. Participants will apply their current and learnt knowledge to a range of activities, contribute to group discussions, and undertake practical assessments.

Who should attend this training?

This training is aimed at people who currently assess the integrity of original and non-original secure documents in their everyday work.

Note: There may be the opportunity to incorporate original or non-original secure documents from participant’s workplaces into group case study workshops or practical activities where they are able to be provided to the trainers in advance of the course.

Fee Payment

Total course cost is $1700. This price includes all course materials, lunch, morning and afternoon tea. Please note that all payments must be made through the TryBooking process, which can be accessed via the links above.

A minimum of 8 participants are required for this course to run. Should the course not go ahead a refund will be processed in accordance with CIT Fee's Policy.
