This course is your first step to learning new skills in business administration and computing. You will learn in an exciting real life business environment called the Simulated Business which provides you the opportunity to gain essential experience working with other students from all over Australia.

Duration: Fifteen weeks full-time intensive study (approximately 14 hours per week) or part-time equivalent. Plus an additional 10 hours per week (approximately) individual learning such as research, online activities, projects, team work, etc.

The 2019 Semester 2 enrolment fees for this course are based on the costs per subject as indicated below. The total program cost may vary depending on the choice of elective subjects or if subjects are attempted more than once.

Subject costs identified as Standard are partially subsidised by the ACT Government. Concessions may be available to eligible students.

Costs identified as Apprentice or Trainee apply only to students studying as part of an Australian Apprenticeship arrangement. The qualification cost for an Apprentice or Trainee is subsidised by the ACT Government. Concessions may be available to eligible Apprentices or Trainees.

Costs identified as Full Fee receive no government subsidy. Concessions are not available.

Traineeships are available for this program.

If you are entering this program as a trainee under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Apprentice Network Provider (ANP) prior to enrolment.

To study any course at CIT (excluding degrees and non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

  • Literacy Skills Information

    • We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework levels of at least 2 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your program of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this program. If you do not have this level, you can still enrol and seek support to improve your skills or you may prefer to begin with a lower level program, or enrol in the Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways (FSK10213) to develop your literacy skills.
