This program meets WORKSAFE ACT requirements Including WORKSAFE ACT Guidance Note for Workers who may encounter asbestos in their work.

Completion of this course will enable the graduate to apply for an Asbestos Awareness Card that meets current Regulatory requirements.

Qualifications at CIT are regularly updated or replaced to meet current industry needs and maximise your employment opportunities.       In this unit of you will gain the skills and knowledge required to anticipate, and be prepared for the presence of, materials containing asbestos (MCAs) and to follow the correct safety guidelines for reporting and communicating the existence of MCAs in a building or work-site.
