Certificate II in Construction Pathways CPC20211

Overview

This qualification provides an occupational outcome in a range of support tasks applicable to a majority of construction work sites.

Occupational titles may include:
• Trades assistant
• Builder's labourer
• Construction assistant

The qualification has core units of competency that are required in many Certificate III trade qualifications. The elective options are structured to allow choice from a range of units aligned at Certificate III level and in total could provide meaningful credit in a construction industry Australian Apprenticeship.

Completion of general induction training specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A within the program covers this requirement.

This program is only available for groups organised through schools.

    • We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework levels of at least 2 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your program of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this program.
