This Infection Control skill set provides the skills and knowledge required to follow organisational infection prevention and control procedures, including implementing standard and transmission-based precautions and responding to infection risks.
This training will also prepare workers to manage the risk of infection posed by COVID 19 in their workplace.

Approximately 18 hours of online study and assessment. You will also be required to undertake at least two hours of independent study. You will need a workplace to undertake some assessment tasks. This short course is offered fully online. You will require a computer and adequate internet access. To complete the assessment, you will require a mobile device or tablet with video function.
CIT provides technical support or help with digital literacy skills. You will be given information on how to access and use the online learning platform (e-Learn).

Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your program of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this program.
