Home and Community Care
Not all health care is provided in hospitals and health care settings. There is a growing demand for services that provide people with support so they can continue to live in their own home and community.
Home and community care is about providing services that support independence as well as physical and emotional wellbeing.
Learn skills for working with a diversity of people and range of personal circumstances and to work collaboratively with a client’s support network. As a support worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing the individual care needs to improve the health and quality of life for people in the community with specific needs.
