Australian Defence Force Preparation Courses
Have you ever thought of joining the Australian Defence Force (ADF), but you don’t meet their entry requirements? At the CIT, we offer two flexible preparation courses for those who haven’t completed Year 10 or Year 12.
Our general education for adults course is designed for those who have not completed secondary study at year 10 level and require this level of study in order to join the ADF. This course is available on campus and online with additional face-to-face tutorial support to help you with your study.
The ACT Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12) at CIT is offered in a supported and flexible environment with options to study part-time, full-time and online during the day evening. Adults are eligible to complete the abridged ACT Senior Secondary Certificate in just one year. This course is ideal to build your academic skills and confidence for the ADF and tertiary study. You can gain an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for university entry or improve an existing ATAR.
For both courses you can enrol in the whole certificate or just the subjects you need such as English and Mathematics.
