This training gives you the skills and knowledge required to apply techniques to image enhancement, manipulation, output and post-output processes. The manipulation and output processes are used to enhance and resolve the concept for the image.

|Duration:||Face-to-face delivery in CIT's purpose designed editing labs. One evening a week for 9 weeks, 5.30-8.30pm.|

|Likely Job Outcome:||While there are no specific job opportunities at the conclusion of this training, successful completion of the national unit of competency achieved in this training is credited towards and allows entry into the Certificate IV in Photography and photo Imaging which does lead to photographic industry job opportunities.|
Entry Requirements / How to Apply
Training in or experience with photo capture and lighting techniques is advised for successful completion of this training. This can be achieved in either CIT's training in Digital Photographic Practice or in CIT's training in Digital Photo Practice (Capture).
You will need literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and numeracy skills (ACSF) to successfully complete this program. See below to check your literacy. If you do not have this level in any area, you can still enrol and seek support to improve your skills or you may prefer to begin with the lower level program. Enhance, manipulate and output photo images
CIT Code: PHOT194 Cost: $750 Description: This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to enhance photo images ready for output. This process could be digital or using a wet darkroom. It applies to individuals who use techniques to enhance and resolve the concept for the image. They may work in photo centres, specialised photo processing laboratories or photography studios.
