Up Styling and Long Hair Workshop

Want to further broaden and develop your skills in long hair styling?

This hands-on workshop will provide hairdressers and make-up artists tricks of the trade, with our accomplished presenters. Perfect your skills in current braiding techniques, classic French rolls, chignons, and how to use padding in your up styles, allowing you to expand your styling repertoire and keep up to date with fresh ideas.
This course is for those wanting to gain confidence and perfect their long hair skills.

Time: 4:30 - 8:00pm
Inclusions: 4 X3.5 hour workshops for hairdressers and make-up artists, to create a whole look
Haircare products and equipment to undertake the training will be provided by CIT
You will need a long hair model on Monday 27 August 2018

Manicure and Pedicure Training

Learn how to provide a professional manicure and pedicure. This class teaches the professional pedicure and manicure treatment including massage techniques, proper use of implements, product knowledge, and problem solving for abused feet. Therapeutic and nail treatments are also included.

Personal Make-Up Style Workshops

Join us for an evening of pampering, education, and light refreshments while learning how to improve your daily make-up techniques. Our expert make-up teacher will take you through some tricks of the trade to expand on and complement your make-up repertoire, and reinvigorate your daily routine.

All products and tools are provided on the evening; however, you are welcome to bring your personal cosmetics along to explore new possibilities with your existing make-up.

Barbering Masterclass

Learn cutting edge skills taught by highly regarded and experienced barbers.

You will undertake 5 workshops covering the following specialised units:

SHBHCUT009 Cut hair using freehand clipper techniques
SHBHCUT011 Design and maintain beards and moustaches
SHBHCUT012 Shave heads and faces
SHBHCUT013 Provide men's general grooming services
SHBHCUT010 Create haircuts using tracks and carving
SHBHCUT001 Design haircut structures

Students who successfully complete the masterclass will receive a Statement of Attainment Advanced Barbering [extract from SHB30516]

Duration: 5 workshops each week from Monday 25 February through to Monday 1 April 2019 inclusive, 10am - 4:30pm
Cost: $928.90 (discounted from $1327.00)
Eligibility: To attend the masterclass you must hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing or currently be working in a salon
