We will be acknowledging a broad range of achievements today, ranging from Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas and Bachelor qualifications," CIT Chief Executive Leanne Cover said.
Over 3000 students are eligible to attend, who are graduating from courses studied at CIT in the fields ranging from Technology and Design, Trade Skills, Building and Construction, Horticulture, Health and Community Science, Business, Tourism and Accounting. The event is also an opportunity to acknowledge high achievers and leaders in their study discipline with a range of prizes and CIT medals, including the Rotary Club of Canberra Award, awarded to a student graduating from any CIT program who has made a valuable contribution to the community during their studies.
"CIT is proud to provide educational and training opportunities that prepare our students for employment, further study and for life. In a world of constant innovation and lifelong learning, we are excited to provide students with the necessary skills and opportunities to pursue their future endeavours," said CIT Chief Executive Leanne Cover.
Today's two Graduation Celebration events will be held at 10:30am and 3.00pm at The Hall, Ground Floor (H-Block) at CIT Bruce, Haydon Drive Bruce ACT 2617.
