Host a Student
The majority of international students who request homestay accommodation come directly from overseas and enrol in English language training before commencing their main study program. These students are often young and are experiencing their first time away from home. This combined with arriving in a culturally different country they undergo a adjustment period.
That is where our Homestay families come in. By providing a secure and happy environment, the Homestay family will play a major role in the student’s ability to settle in to his or her new life.

Please print and complete the form and return it by mail or fax. Alternatively you can complete the form electronically and return it via email.
Please note:
- You will need to include details of two character referees in your application.
- Your application will be assessed by CIT's Accommodation Services area.
- If you are assessed as suitable to host a student, CIT will make an appointment with you, to visit you at your home.
- A police check will also be required.
